Where to begin... you can search sooo many ways on Alumnifire. Here are two ways we suggest trying if you’re new to this:
1) Use the "services offered" links on the right side of the home page (e.g. “informational interview” or “resume review.). This is a good way to find folks across the network that are generally willing to help you. These will be listed along the right side of the home page, and you can click on them to find a list of members offering that service.
2) Use the “Directory” tab in the main navigation bar. Here you can get extremely specific and zero in on the perfect person. You can enter what you’re looking for using keyword search or by filtering by any of the many fields customized to your community. Looking for someone offering an internship in marketing within 10 miles of Chicago that played field hockey and graduated in 1998? No problem! Or, if you’re interested in a specific company, just click on the “Employers” tab in the main navigation bar and search for any organization. Find out who works where, what they’re willing to help you with and what jobs are currently available there. Specific enough? Now go get that dream job!
